Pick The Right Teams

Get points for correctly picking a team to make it into each round. Point totals per round are below:

• Second Round: 2 points
• Sweet Sixteen: 4 points
• Elite Eight: 8 points
• Final Four: 16 points
• Finals: 25 points
• Champion: 50 points

Call Upsets

Get points for calling upsets (a lower seeded team beating a higher seeded team). First round upset bonuses are below:

• 9 over 8: 1 point
• 10 over 7: 2 points
• 11 over 6: 3 points
• 12 over 5: 4 points
• 13 over 4: 5 points
• 14 over 3: 6 points
• 15 over 2: 7 points
• 16 over 1: 8 points

For upsets after the first round, get additional points equal to the seed differential. Both teams need to be present in the matchup to get upset points. A few examples could be:

• 13 over 12: 1 point
• 10 over 3: 7 points
• 5 over 4: 1 points

Cinderellas

Pick two teams seeded 9-16 to go on a run. These teams will earn their seed differential in points for any game they win. For example: if a 12 seed Cinderella beats a 5 seed in the first round, a 4 seed in the second round, and then loses to a 1 seed, the following points would be earned:

• 12 over 5: 7 points
• 12 over 4: 8 points

These points are in addition to the upset points mentioned above. Cinderella teams do not need to be chosen in the bracket to earn points and their matchup does not need to be called. They are basically wild card teams.
